About Me

Who am I?

Originally from Long Island, New York, I lived in the Far East, New York City and upstate New York before settling in New Jersey. My husband and I moved from Southern New Jersey to Montclair in 1980 where we raised our two sons and started our own wholesale crystal giftware business, Jonal Crystal. After selling the business in 1993, I decided to combine my decades-long real estate obsession and years of business experience and get my real estate license. After stints with Prudential Realtors and Burgdorff Realtors, I joined RE/MAX Village Square in 2004.

In addition to a busy real estate career, I confess to being a union card carrying professional actress. A career ambition that was put on hold after college became a reality, if only part time, when we moved back to the NYC area. My list of credits include Off and Off-Off Broadway, daytime soap operas, QVC and a (very, very) short lived TV series. I am fortunate to still get a chance to tread the boards now and then in local theatre. (Most recently March 2007 in Arthur Miller’s “The Price” - go to www.12mileswest.org for details).

My love for developmental theater continues to be fulfilled as the Co-Producer of the annual New York City 15 Minute Play Festival each spring. Now in its 13^th year, the 15 Minute Play Festival has given me a chance to showcase more than 400 original short plays by some of our most talented new playwrights. A life long volunteer, I have served in a variety of organizations including a two year stint as PTA President, three years as Director of Education for the Montclair Area League of Women Voters and as Secretary of the Montclair Downtown Alliance. I am currently the Treasurer and volunteer Development Director for 12 Miles West Theatre Company in Bloomfield and on the Advisory Board of Page73 Productions, a small theater company in New York City.
